hola te saludo desde el Peru,hace un par de anos me enviates unos dvds,no sabes como colecciono las orquesta de son pero como es cuando uno atesora a veces el destino te juega una mala pasada ,el tema es que se han borrado de mi pc la presentaciones de manguare que creo son de agosto no se si es posible reponerlas ,si gustas dame tu direccion para enviarte material para que lo subas a tu web,mi mail es varferrisi@yahoo.com

It is wonderful to hear what you guyz say about cuban casino style. it is a true joy and art form. Until the music lives in the body the casino style cannot be danced and it sure took me a while to even be aware of this. The movement is natural and oragnic and along with the incredibly rich music devloped from ancient and sacred origins. it has depths that go way beyond the plastic limitations of "linear salsa" but sadly so few seem to be aware of the true joy of music and dance or put in the time it takes. i am stii enjoying learning. Go well seek the joy in wild places.

In Tokyo there is a briliant dancer and teacher, Frank Abel. I studied with him for 4 years, and was profoundly affected. I left Tokyo about 2 years ago, so I'm not sure if Frank is still there. He was teaching on Monday nights at the Club Caribe in Ikebukuro.
